Welcome to A.K.D.Dharma Raja Women's College

A.K.D. Dharma Raja Women's College is a renowned Arts & Science institution in Southern India and is affiliated to Madurai Kamaraj University. Established in 1990, to gratify the long-felt educational need of the women of Rajapalaiyam and neighboring community. It is administered by “Sri Rao Bahadur A.K.D.Dharma Raja Education Charity Trust, Rajapalaiyam” one of the oldest pioneer Educational Charity Trust in Virudhunagar District which was established in 1932. Our college campus is located amidst the green serenity of the Western Ghats, at Shenbagathoppu Road, Rajapalaiyam.

Dear Staff, Students and Parents,

A.K.D.Dharma Raja Women's College was started in year1990, to satisfy the long-felt need for the women of Rajapalayam and its neighbourhood villages. It is the crown in the jewel of Sri Rao Bahadur A.K.D.Dharma Raja Educational Charity Trust,Which runs a Nursery School, a Primary School,a Middle School, a Boy’s Higher Secondary School, a Girls higher Secondary School and a college of Education for Women. The college came into it’s existence due to the wisdom and farsightedness of late Sri.A.A.Subba Raja, former Managing Trustee and Municipal Chairman of Rajapalayam.
