Department of Commerce with Computer Application

BA (Corporate Secretaryship) department was started in the year 1993. This course is one of the to introduce corporate related studies and our college is one of the leading institutions in the field of corporate secretary, To impart knowledge regarding all the aspects of Company Secretaries. This course enables the students to pursue professional course like ACS, ICWA,and CA.

The Department offers undergraduate course in the Corporate Secretaryship area, which is considered to be possessing a lot of job opportunities. It has been designed to produce middle level manpower for secretarial department both in corporate and other fields. It also functions as a feeder course for blooming ACS candidates. This course was changed to B.Com(Corporate Secretaryship) in the year 2006. This course makes conscious efforts to inculcate the students for an active and real outlook towards the life and career.

Due to the era of information technology , most of the students prefer computer related course. So, that the management decided to change the course from B.Com(CS) to B.Com(CA).The department of B.Com(CA) was established in the year 2008-2009. The department has produced 39 rank holders at university level since 2000. So for our department has bagged three I rank and five II ranks at University level. The department has a good library. The department has an association which conducts Paper Presentation, Rangoli, Model Display, Quiz and As you like it every year. It encourages students to appear in a competitive examination, IBPS etc.,

Now, the department has nearly 134 students and 5 staff members.
